Porta do Sol Garden and Interpretive Center

The stunning Porta do Sol Garden was totally revamped to afford the citizens of Santarem a space for recreation and learning. Santarem Municipality employed YDreams' creative technologies to create a brand new interpretive center on the grounds, and transform the park into a fun and explorative experience.
The interactive technologies on hand include audio-guides and two Augmented Reality scenic viewers for exploring the park and the gorgeous landscape. In addition interactive tables and displays let visitors learn about the history of Santarem, see the effects the earthquake of 1755 had on the city, and delve into the Roman excavation site located right on the garden grounds.
