Vasco da Gama House Museum

Sines’ historical castle keep was restored to give way to the new Vasco da Gama House Museum. Sines Municipality called on YDreams’ to devise a conceptual journey using interactivity to explore the accomplished navigator’s life and achievements.
YDreams’ installations are distributed throughout all three museum floors and range from interactive tables with a world maps highlighting the path of Gama’s armada to India, as well as other notable points related to the Portuguese Discoveries to four 42” screens with a tactile timeline highlighting significant dates in the navigator’s life and a narrated video re-enactment of a typical day in the life of the Gama family at the castle, among others.
